guest house

On the edge of the Clain river, at the time of the mills

a traditional nineteenth century house, typical of the region

In Poitiers, the Clos des Moulins house was built around 1856 by Charles ORILLARD on a former troglodyte site. Charles was a merchant and seed trader. Today, beautifully restored guest rooms retaining original features, will welcome you for a professional stay, a weekend or for your holidays.

Shaped by nature and people

a former troglodyte site…

The troglodyte site is composed of a main house, outbuildings and a large quarry. It was inhabited between 1750 and 1790 by Hilaire GARDIEN, Marie-Radegonde GUYONNET and their children...

Keep your eyes and ears open and let yourself be carried away into a fragment of Poitiers’ history.

Awaken this art of living hidden inside of you!
